Phase V of Lion Creek Crossings is an affordable senior complex which includes 128 rental apartments on a 1.5 acre infill site. The four story building provides a prominent, strong definition to the central, public park. The high-density building design makes efficient use of the limited site acreage and wraps around a lushly landscaped courtyard maximizing light and air to the units and common spaces as well as providing a protected interior courtyard for the residents. The building design includes a rhythmic pattern of projecting bays finished in smooth cement plaster with recesses of horizontal lap siding to create texture and interest. Balconies with wood guardrails provide a further level of detail, color and pattern. Amenities include a fitness room, computer room, TV/lounge, and second and fourth floor balconies. This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
