HKIT Architects provided full architectural services for the dramatic improvement and modernization of Antioch High School through its Measure B bond program. The improvements, completed in phases, include a new expanded cafeteria, new library and administration building, new stadium and athletic fields with synthetic turf and track, modernized classroom wings, and conversion of the existing library to classrooms. The classroom modernization is part of a new “linked learning” approach to the curriculum focusing on four specialized academies including: engineering & design, leadership & public service, media/tech, and environmental science.
