The new multipurpose building is strategically positioned at the campus entry, creating a secure and welcoming entrance for the campus. It replaces the former 1950’s building which was deemed unsafe from potential (wild)fires. The building is designed not only to be a hub of activity and gatherings, but also to serve as a temporary shelter during fire emergencies.
The new 3,360 square foot building features a stage, full cooking kitchen, basketball court, and in-wall cafeteria tables. The stage includes a folding partition, allowing for simultaneous events and activities in both the stage and the main space. Large roll-up doors seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces, opening to a well-shaded courtyard.
The project was completed while the campus remained occupied, ensuring minimal disruption to the school’s daily operations.
