The goals for this project are to provide high quality housing on a challenging triangular site and improve the quality of the surrounding neighborhood by replacing aged single family houses with a handsome building compatible in size and style to the surrounding office buildings. The building is pushed up against the highway edge with a narrow five foot setback and as such acts as a sound wall. As a result, all of the units open to the east side of the building, minimizing impacts from sound and pollution. A landscaped deck above parking provides a comfortable gathering and play area for residents. Designed for families, the development offers resident social service support and dedicated property management. Shared amenities include community rooms with full kitchens, a children’s play space, laundry facilities, and car and bike parking.
