Phase V of Lion Creek Crossings is an affordable senior complex that includes 128 rental apartments on a 1.5-acre infill site. The four-story building provides a prominent, strong definition to the central public park. The high-density building design makes efficient use of the limited site acreage. It wraps around a lushly landscaped courtyard, maximizing light and air to the units and common spaces and providing a protected interior courtyard for the residents. The building design includes a rhythmic pattern of projecting bays finished in smooth cement plaster with recesses of horizontal lap siding to create texture and interest. Balconies with wood guardrails provide further detail, color, and pattern. Amenities include a fitness room, computer room, TV/lounge, and second and fourth-floor balconies. This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
