Casa de la Misión is a dynamic addition to San Francisco’s Mission District and Calle 24 Latino Cultural District featuring 45 units of affordable senior housing. The base of the building is wrapped in vibrant 3D murals and a “cool” blue colored tile that extends into the lobby. The tile serves as a textural backdrop for the addition of biophilic design elements: plants, warm woods and views outside. The result is a modern and relaxing hub for the residents within a very dynamic LatinX community.
