Richmond High School Auxiliary Gymnasium & Science Building Upgrade

Richmond, CA

The Richmond High School project introduced a new 15,300 square-foot practice gymnasium building to the campus. The facility encompasses a girls’ locker room, a dance studio, and a weight room. Additionally, the project involved a seismic upgrade and accessibility retrofit of the neighboring Science Classroom Building.

A notable feature of this development is the creation of a student quad strategically situated between the two buildings and extending towards the stadium entrance. This space offers a communal gathering area and serves as a setting for outdoor learning.
