Lafayette Elementary School Modernization
Lafayette, CA
Modular construction on this elementary school campus allowed for a comprehensive, cost-effective modernization
At Lafayette Elementary School, our work included the creation of new kindergarten classrooms and a playground, the modernization of existing buildings, and the development of a new parking and drop-off area. This transformation was made possible through the Lafayette School District’s Measure C bond initiative and the acquisition of the old library site on Moraga Road and Moraga Boulevard, which allowed an opportunity to rethink the campus layout and accessibility for students and parents.
Two new modular buildings were also added to the campus as part of the project. These structures were utilized for kindergarten and transitional kindergarten classrooms, providing students with comfortable, modern spaces to replace outdated portables. Alongside the buildings, new play structures were introduced, creating a safe and enjoyable environment for the school’s youngest learners.
