Jefferson Union High School District Needs Assessment & Master Plan
Daly City, CA
Planning to meet future growth and educational goals
The team evaluated five of the Jefferson Union High School District’s sites/schools – Jefferson, Thornton, Terra Nova, Oceana, and Westmoor high schools – conducting a needs assessment and developing a master plan.
Close engagement with district representatives from Facilities, Educational Services, CTE, and Business Services aimed to align findings with the broader district-wide goals and values. Concurrent discussions with school principals and their teams helped identify the specific needs and educational goals of the different sites.
The outcome of the analysis was collated to provide an interactive, easily updated needs assessment tool for each school, allowing the District to prioritize and keep track of maintenance projects. A master plan and project list were also developed for each campus to support the overall planning goals of each site.
