The Adult Education Building and District Office buildings for Jefferson Union High School District are innovative and welcoming places for students, district administration, and the community.

The 39,000 square-foot Adult Education building features a variety of flexible classrooms, workrooms, and breakout spaces dedicated to the Adult Education and Adult Transition programs. Administrative spaces – reception, staff offices, conference room, and staff lounge – provide much-needed support space for the Adult Education program. The multi-purpose room and enclosed outdoor recreation yard with basketball court offers safe spaces for student activity and socialization.

The two-story, 30,000 square-foot District Office building serves the District’s administrative team, and is designed with ample open workspaces, offices, conference rooms, breakout spaces, lounge areas, and flexible training facility. All open workspaces and offices on both floors receive abundant natural daylight through large north and south facing windows. A state-of-the art boardroom for District Board and community meetings welcomes visitors from the main lobby with daylit double-height corridor to be used as event overflow space. A landscaped playground, walking paths, and patio offers generous outdoor space for staff and the community to enjoy.  

The buildings are LEED Gold certified, ZNE designed, all-electric, and operationally carbon neutral.
