HKIT continues to grow! We’d like to introduce four new employees who joined the HKIT team in August, and who bring a wide range of skills and talents to our practice.

Priscilla Chan, LEED AP BD+C, Architectural Designer
Priscilla joined HKIT as an Architectural Designer and brings nearly 7 years of experience with a particular focus in sustainable design. Her background includes education, commercial, and multi-family residential projects. Priscilla earned her BA in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Master of Environmental Building Design at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sophie Dosick, Project Architect
Sophie joins HKIT from HY Architects, and brings a wide range of Bay Area K-12 project experience as both Designer and Job Captain. A licensed architect, her interests including cycling, hiking, yoga, architecture history, and accessibility. Sophie earned her BA Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.
Gregory Hielsberg, Architect/Project Manager
Greg brings more than 10 years of experience in the design and planning of learning environments to the team. Greg’s experience includes project management and construction administration. He believes that architecture demands thoughtfulness, devotion, and experience in all phases to be successful. Greg received his Master of Architectural Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University.
Kaye Lao, Junior Designer
A recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Kaye gained real-world experience as a student intern at AC Martin in Los Angeles. She has taken part in the Design Development phase of CSUF’s laboratory renovation and brings advanced Revit skills to the HKIT team.
