We’re thrilled to announce four new staff members that have joined HKIT this June! They bring diverse skills to our interior design and affordable housing projects, and we’re delighted to have these talented individuals on the HKIT team.

Hannah Hathaway, Junior Interior Designer
Hannah is a recent graduate of George Washington University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture. She’s eager to take part in projects that will directly benefit the Bay Area!

Vickie Huang, Junior Interior Designer
A recent graduate of San Jose State University, Vickie strives to design for memorable user experiences with environmental consciousness. She has served as a Teaching Assistant at SJSU in California Building Code courses and has been an intern at Eva LaRocque Interiors of San Francisco.
Sam McGeehan, Project Manager
Sam brings over 20 years in the architectural profession on varied projects and building types including market-rate modular, multi-family, and site-built multi-family. He moved to San Francisco 20 years ago after receiving a Master of Architecture from Montana State University. Sam has climbed throughout the West coast, including Mt. Whitney and El Capitan but “still struggles to break 90 on a golf course each weekend.”
Young Woo “Mac” Son, AIA, Project Manager
Combining an education in engineering, interior design and architecture, Mac has the experience and well-rounded knowledge in a variety of building types and services. Mac comes to HKIT from Barcelon Jang Architecture, where he worked on multiple affordable multi-family housing projects throughout the Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Dong-A University in South Korea and a Master of Architecture degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
